I spent 4 long and fun evenings in Diane Abbot's company filming Celebrity Come Dine With Me and found her to be well read, extremely intelligent, humble, caring about society and community, down to earth, great fun and tolerant of how drunk both Wayne Sleep and myself got ...most nights. She is a credit to politics and to the @UKLabour . The attacks on her make me sick to the stomach. Through a life time of observance i know how tpugh it is for a black woman in our society - times that by ten for a politician especially one woth principles - but then that is why they so callously attack her and purposely misinterpret what she says . Great Neu Music Club night at the Kas Social, in the mighty metropolis of Ormskirk. Live music provided by Mark Peters (formally Engineers) aided by his bass playing mate Dean. Like a tripped out Hank Marvin, he forged a sonic landscape into a lip smacking wall of Eno-licious sound syrup with krautrock croutons. (or words to that effect)

HOWEVER, I'll let my record in education do the talking inc
helping 500,000 children with their maths during lockdown...giving bursaries for young people and schools with disadvantaged backgrounds like mine....helping Blunkett introduce the Numeracy Hour....governor of inner city school......education books for decades.....recognised STEM Ambassador....I could go on.
Always a believer in encouraging young people to achieve their best, in whichever way that comes around, to be strong and happy and confident.
Anything else being espoused is offensive, targeted, predictable Right Wing nonsense.
PS Tories....this attack won't work. It just makes us more determined.

@jetfury Same here, 2007 was a turning point. Having a normal spectrum of emotions and not constant crippling anxiety where you shudder in the evening after a day of terror has been rather nice.
