@ATLYeet @ClayTravis But...thats what the ncaa has been losing on...repeatedly. NIL, transfer portal, now gambling restrictions, are all rooted in anti trust law, ie the organization is too big and too much a monopoly, and therefore cannot create rules/restrictions/punishments on a national scale

@Badgers89_ @AndyStaples Yep...general rule is that ncaa cant restrict athletes any differently than regular students. So if any college student can gamble on fanduel...well so can athletes. If schools want to change that they need to make players employees and write it into a CBA like the pros do

they largely dont have to patrol or enforce

@MarioNawfal What part of recent wars has made defending Taiwan more difficult as long as Taiwan resists? Ukraine/Iran wars have shown how relatively easily an invasion fleet could be sunk & airspace denied. Dont see how China could actually land/supply troops and take over the island.
