@pappybest My alma mater (Whitworth) is at Level 3 evacuation, according to a friend who is on staff there. He and his family have evacuated to a friend's house, and they don't live far from the university. Scary to think of what we used to call "the Back 40," the woods behind the dorms...
Good Saturday morning, everyone! Time for me to enjoy a cuppa tea while I listen to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me on my local public radio station. Have a great day!
@DougWahl1 I love liver and onions, but my mom only cooked calves' liver -- she always said beef liver is too strong. I cooked it for myself a few times after I moved out on my own, but you can't find calves' liver anymore, so it's been a very long time since I've had it.
@gggirl924 "In My Life." I made a great slide show for our 40-year high school class reunion years ago and that was the opening song to it. Used other songs in the middle and closed it with Green Day's "Good Riddance."
@susaninseattle1 If it warms up a little it might be a good day for me to work in my garden, which is a period of transition. I need to prepare planting beds for my new landscape plan. Quite the change from last week's weather, isn't it? ๐โ๏ธ
@BoiJuanda@MAGACult2 I love Kris and Dave! They are both veterans so they speak from personal experience. And Kris, in particular, doesn't mince words!
