New to Futureverse? Heard about $ROOT? Here’s what you need to know. 👇

Futureverse are building the open metaverse operating system. This includes the infrastructure layers and a blockchain called The Root Network. Minting, gaming and AI tools to help developers and users, and some lore and pieces of content on the top. They are partnering with global brands to help deliver this to the masses in a user friendly way.

1) The first thing you need to do is go to the Futureverse website and create your FuturePass - this is your wallet or identity. You’ll be able to use this to sign in across multiple applications and experiences.

2) Once you’ve created a FuturePass the next thing you want to do is generate your FutureScore. Your FutureScore is currently calculated based on the number of Futureverse collectibles (or NFTs) that you hold - the rarity, time held, type of collectible, and other factors all play a part.

3) Now that you have your FutureScore you can start participating in Quests. These Quests help the Futureverse team test different applications or features and as a reward you’ll earn $ROOT tokens - your FutureScore acts as a multiplier. Some quests in future may also increase your FutureScore.

Time to give my 2024 prediction. I predict that @Ripple moves their focus away from cross-boarder payments and into becoming a full fledged custody solutions provider for corporate entities. I believe this will be driven by more and more corporates entering the web3 space and looking for a way to tokenize their RWA assets and interact directly with customers. They will switch to focusing to brands with IP that want to bring this on-chain but if the #XRPL can’t do it they will work with other chains.
