Well it takes time to build the foundation. When we've had a political party whose only job was making the RBI's money printer go brrrrr and push the inflation into double digits because entitled, spoilt, good for nothing princes and princesses aren't capable enough to earn their own money, it takes time to reverse that level of sh!t policy making.

That I agree with. Instead of spending lakhs of crores into buying fighter jets from other countries, we should start behaving like a big economy and put money into the hands of research scholars, engineers, and mathematicians to build our own jet engine. This will propel Indian economy in a way this country has never seen before. We need an entire decade just to improve and grow our R&D.
