@timfitzzz @revhowardarson Makes sense and especially hard to reason about the why if you don't have the context for each system and it's requirements.

I was worried there was some other large/distributed system side effect going on that'd make it so hard to cold start.

@revhowardarson Maybe in a cold start there's a stampede as everything tries to sync up and it takes the network down and it's hard to disable/know how to configure the services to come up slowly
