@ASDA How obnoxious can a store get? Bexleyheath, Dartford and Swanley have all had closed customer toilets for months. This is no coincidence, it is a conscious decision to treat customers like dirt while extracting their cash. Shame on you ASDA 💩
@HMRCgovuk Received my notice to file a tax return today on the HMRC app. It was dated 6th April 2024 and recorded as received on 5th April 2024. When I trained in the Inland Revenue 35 years ago, backdated documents were regarded as fraudulent. Any comments?
@SouthernWater From their website: "We’re investing £77 million in our water treatment works in Otterbourne .... so we can continue to provide a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water."
Please note the word "continue". Commence might be more accurate.
@SouthernWater Radical idea: how about your entire executive management team forego all bonuses (cash and kind) until a permanent fix for this issue is implemented. Would concentrate their minds.
@MartCAFC45@LouisMend I wonder if anyone can provide a graphic showing the correlation between possession and points for Charlton this season. I suspect most of our wins have come in games where we had less than 50% possession. It's not how long you keep the ball, it's what you do with it that counts.
@RichCawleySLP Best referee we've had at the Valley in years: Rebecca Welch. Didn't strut and got almost every decision right. You can't ask for more than that.
@SkyNews Congratulations @SkyNews. Exactly how to run a reputable news channel. Gin up controversy, sow the seeds of envy & discontent, then monetise the response through click bait and the resulting advertising revenue.
@LouisMend@leorifkind This would be a great idea with one modification. Take your result and divide it by the football tier the club plays in. So, top of the league gives £48 ÷ 3 = £16. Wouldn't that give the owner and directors an incentive to invest in the team?
@CharlesCampey@ChrisWo30990144@LouisMend I agree with you but everyone knows that's not what happens in practice. Problem is everyone also knows that Innes has a bit of the red mist about him.
@jbov71 @MichaelVaughan Really isn't the point. Why do we think that any team gaining an advantage from a rain delay is a valid expectation rather than just good luck? That shouldn't come into the reckoning when making the rules.
@discoverybft @SouthernWater Yes, I reported it to Southern Water just after 4 am. I assume it's the burst water main at Eastleigh that has appeared on their incident map.
@Mortimerician @Dan_KP Have been steadfast in my support of TS, and I'm still grateful to him for saving the club, but this has knocked my faith enormously. I think he intended to do this all along, hence the dodgy contract. Starting to look like an extroverted version of Roland now.
@DanDicko81@spinksy68@LouisMend@BBCLondonSport Couldn't agree more. The first and only movement when a cross comes in is backwards onto his goal line. That drags the defenders back into their own 6 yard box where they have no run on the ball. Sitting ducks for a decent forward attacking the ball. Happens over and over again.
