Once you get Astra access run this prompt against your codebase (or just a part of it). It's magic.
"Think from first principles about what we're trying to achieve here. Interrogate what you built before calling it done:
1. is anything here unnecessary, overly complicated, or based on weak assumptions? Challenge them.
2. What can be deleted entirely?
3. What can be simplified now that unnecessary pieces are gone?
Then make the changes. Prefer deleting over simplifying, simplifying over optimizing, and optimizing over automating.
It might be done too - you dont HAVE to go and make changes. if its good, leave it alone"
@bcherny@karpathy this whole conversation made me think we might have an inverse dunning krueger effect happen. where the models get so good, and the ui is so beginner friendly that legitimate developers are actually at a disadvantage because imagination becomes more potent than feasibility
@doodlestein it's funny i was working on installing all these tools individually and then saw you post this on github before your tweet. trying to condense my feedback into something that will fit into tweets but happy to provide more color.
it’s remarkable how few people share their creations online. anonymously or not, you start to see the same circles of people very quickly in any given space.
@aminamilieu imo the zoomed out perspective is - everything is perfect and couldn’t in fact be otherwise. the trouble is, there’s a difference between intellectually arriving somewhere versus integrating it! that’s the hard work.
relieve your mind of making sure everyone & everything is the way you need it to be so you feel better inside.
your mind is not qualified for that job.
@connorgrant@apollonator3000 sure, i was able to do that- and i added this (https://t.co/gGxpXnFeEz) page to the context as well. but i mean, wouldn't it make sense for it to be integrated within cc to create skills within a specific repo/project? "analyze my project, what skills would this benefiit from"
@matt_gray_ the most compatible setting is the only one you need to have selected. you can capture in 4k. lowering your exposure is the most helpful for compression on iOS.
