@MSorrenti434 @selkiize “Nobody cares about you” may be the single worst thing to tell a person with depression. And the point is that the advice doesn’t say what they did to get better. People just say that they just got better with no steps on how they got there. As if it’s spontaneous/uncontrollable.

@selkiize Sometimes it doesn’t get better on its own but one day, you realize that the way you’re living isn’t helping. It might start with talking to a stranger, cleaning your floor, washing a few dishes, taking a shower. Sometimes the motivation comes after the thing you need it for.
