@bobagangster Totally agree. I’m surprised that after 10 years, still nothing has been done about it. He was in a relationship with the girl while she was a student/TA in his classroom, so BEFORE she was 18. They only became public after she turned 18.
Congrats to our newest Ph.D., Dr. Chris Reimann 🦮 (or Dr. USC, formerly known as Mr. USC) for giving a great defense talk today. We will miss you @TrojanChemist, and wish you the best at @AstraZeneca!

Hey #ChemTwitter,
Now is your time to put your money where your mouth is, I want to know how many established white male professors will publically denounce the latest pathetic excuse for an opinion by Tomáš Hudlický published in @angew_chem.

I hope journalists are looking into these videos of masked white "protestors" inexplicably destroying property + walking away w/o comment while protestors of color ask them why they're doing that and urge them to stop. You'd be forgiven for wondering if they're undercover cops.
Yes, I was born here and I’ve lived here my entire life. Does that make me an American? I’m not sure, but certainly not with Donald Trump in office. 5/5
Growing up, whenever I was asked “where are you from?” I got into the habit of saying “my family’s from Taiwan” without bothering with “here” because based on the color of my skin, I couldn’t possibly be from the United States. I’m not white. 1/5
....These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!
Now, 15 years later, I love the color of my tan skin and while I’m proud to say “I’m from California,” I still have trouble with saying “I’m an American” because this was never my America to begin with. 4/5
Growing up, white-washed was something I strived to be. When answering the phone, I wanted to sound “white” so people would treat me as though I were white and not an American Born Chinese (Taiwanese? We’re all lumped in the same category.) 2/5
