March 2022 and Labour party leader Alan Kelly was unceremoniously removed, with poor opinion polls cited as the key reason.

But in Feb 2022, Labour was on 4% in the opinion polls.

August 2026, Labour is on 3% in the opinion polls, the biggest relative decline, one third, from the 2024 General Election albeit on small numbers and the 3% could be 2.5%-3.49%

Still though, Alan Kelly must be scratching his noggin at how the opinion polls have actually gotten worse under four years of rule by Ivana Bacik.
