The delegates have spoken, and the Cardano Constitution has been approved to move forward into the ratification process! This is a defining moment as Cardano leads the way with its decentralized on-chain governance model. The vote passed with an overwhelming 95% of delegates voting ‘yes’.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort. Let’s all enjoy this moment - a remarkable achievement by the community, for the community. 🥳
Stay tuned as we move toward the signing ceremony tomorrow!
The vote is now underway at the Cardano Constitutional Convention in both Buenos Aires, Argentina and Nairobi, Kenya. 🇦🇷🇰🇪
This moment represents the culmination of a global effort: 1,400+ participants across 60+ workshops, delegates elected from diverse regions, and months of thoughtful discussion.
The proposed Cardano Constitution, shaped by countless global voices, reflects a shared commitment to decentralized governance. As well a technological powerhouse, acceptance and ratification of the Constitution will evolve Cardano into a pathfinder and true pioneer for on-chain community-driven governance.'
This is the future of Cardano. Built by the community, for the community. Let’s choose wisely.

💡@IOHK_Charles explains during his Governance keynote at @Futurist_conf that the single most important blockchain contribution will be governing blockchain technology because this will enable us to govern the exponential technologies of the 21st century. #Cardano
There is a team of crazy people, with different stories, from different cultures, and from different countries, united by an inexplicable brotherhood and a feeling of fraternity that transcends borders.
That professional and personal friendship was reflected in the Edinburgh workshop when we presented our results, our numbers, our ideas and our document for the CIP 1694.
LATAM is not just a team, is a region made up of wonderful individuals, and many of them work in different areas of the #Cardano ecosystem.
However, this time I would like to thank those who helped coordinate all the organization, those who organized local workshops, and those who spent hours of their lives studying and preparing the document for our presentation.
Special thanks to:

The IOG team has decided to call the CIP implementation testnet "SANCHO Net" in reference to “Don Quijote de la Mancha”. That is why I want to end this post with a quote from that book.
