I just cancelled my Adobe licence after many years as a customer.

The new terms give Adobe "worldwide royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute" or do whatever they want with any content I produce using their software.

This is beyond insane. No creator in their right mind can accept this .

You pay a huge monthly subscription and they want to own your content and your entire business as well.

Going to have to learn some new tools.

@gemmagould I have great memories of Steve and Cockney Rebel coming to Glasgow in the ‘90’s; always a great show. Saw him at the Edinburgh fringe, just him on acoustic guitar and a friend on violin, mandolin or guitar. His singing was much more emotive and expressive than when he sang ….

@jjohnstonmezzo @E_N_O You do not have to know much. My 3rd classical record was Also Sprach Zarathustra bought age 15 ,in the ’70s, as a bit of it was in a film. Knew nothing of classical music but this was obviously not (in my opinionated youth) by the same composer as those waltzes heard on TV.

@skdh It’s not weird. I trained in electronics and was playing with vacume-tubes a few years ago. I still don’t know my anode from my cathode! We have equations and parameters, why do we need labels to go with them?

@jjohnstonmezzo If you doubt your singing ability, still join because (1) you will improve, (2) you will make all those already in the choir feel better as they will realise how far they have got in their singing journey, (3) it’s about getting better together, not rating people by ability.
