Results and lessons from Oregon: duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and cottages aren’t complicated-- they’re just old, simple, good ideas that happened to be banned from most city land for a while. https://t.co/sj2czMQ7VY
@benmaritz A progressive revenue source is a great line 👏👏
If we can communicate this to city council I think it could make a a big difference.
How would this relate to MFTE?
Tonight in Ballard is the first in-person Open House for the new Housing Plan Draft.
We're looking for a strong YIMBY turn out to counter the inevitable NIMBY backlash to new housing.
Come out and talk about the future of Seattle with us!

In the Schemata Workshop build above all the homes are full sized apartments with shared amenities for things like hosting weekly dinners
We're teaming up with Schemata Workshop tomorrow at 6pm for a building tour and discussion of what it means to design, build and then live in a Cohousing community.
In the midst of a loneliness epidemic and ever spiraling housing costs this will be a fascinating discussion!
Class in session! Join us for a back-to-school happy hour at Big Time Brewery (all ages) this Wed @ 6pm. Get plugged into pro-housing advocacy happening in your area.
Help our local officials do their homework (they've been skipping) 🤨
See you there!

This is huge! A street improvement plan not only takes months for approval but also can cost 100s of thousands of dollars to implement.
