Blue for Puget Sound & Lake Washington, the teal standing for the isthmus of the city itself. An “A” for Association & “V” for Vexillology. Colors inspired by @SoundTransit color scheme. 🌊

On June 1st 2018 Seattle’s LGBTQ Commission unveiled an eleven stripe Seattle variant of the rainbow pride flag. Combining the rainbow, transgender, and people of color stripes, its ratio matches that of the US’s. The flag has appeared in numerous other North American cities.

Yadesa Bojia who earned degrees in Seattle created the flag of the African Union which was adopted in 2010. This is Seattle’s @MetskerMaps flag of the week. Happy Africa Day! 🌎

@UtahGov adopted this horizontal tricolor today! Blue stripe =state’s skies, white middle forms five mountain peaks, & the lower red represent’s southern Utah's landscapes. The beehive encapsulates the state’s motto “Industry”
