Malignant Narcissists are not concerned about seeing the truth, especially when it comes to other people. Narcissists see things the way they want to. I.e. whatever suits their ego best.
The most abusive example of this, and I see this a lot, is when a victim of narcissistic abuse is showing signs of psychological trauma and distress from the abuse.
Narcissists, even the ones that have nothing to do with the victim personally, will push the narrative that the victim has underlying mental health issues. This is something narcissists do, it’s one of the strongest patterns I’ve observed. It satisfies their ego and their covertly sadistic traits and works to hide clarity and understanding of narcissistic abuse from the public eye
