Chanukah 🕎 Sameach!
@ChaverimQueens started in 2007 with just a few volunteers using beepers & paper maps to respond to calls.
Today, Chaverim has round the clock dispatchers paging calls out via an app that allows members to respond faster and more efficiently.
If you haven’t called Chaverim, you probably know someone who has.
Be there for Chaverim now so Chaverim can be there for you (or your friend), when needed.
Your generosity will help our members go the extra distance for the community.
Proud to represent @NYCComptroller at tonight’s gala dinner for Chai Lifeline. Presenting a commendation for Rabbi Simcha Scholar for his outstanding work and dedication for the organization. @sebag_simon
🌿 A true blessing to celebrate Sukkot with our colleagues in government at City Hall.
Under the Sukkah, we aspire to be better neighbors, to welcome all, and to create an inclusive city.
Thank you to the @NYCCouncil Jewish Caucus for bringing us together.
Chag Sameach!
The @nycpa and the rest of the politicians witnessed @hatzalah in Action as a emergency call came in and the ambulance had to leave the Hatzalah garage.
New Yorkers are always ready to respond in a crisis.
Naftuli Schischa, a member of Williamsburg #Hatzalah, recently rendered medical assistance midair—exemplifying the quick-thinking readiness that @hatzalah volunteers regularly demonstrate here in NYC.

Talk is cheap. That’s why we’re grateful to @SenGillibrand for ensuring Jewish orgs get security funding & pushing for better representation in government to combat anti-Semitism. She also spent Chanukah eve packing food for Holocaust survivors @MetCouncil
The light of the Hanukkah season is in serving our neighbors.
Community Liaison @sebag_simon proudly joined a Hanukkah Day of Service with @SenGillibrand, @MetCouncil, @BrooklynCB12, and dedicated volunteers to pack meals for Holocaust survivors and stand against antisemitism.
Kudos to Community Liaison @sebag_simon, who recently joined Hatzolah of Queens & Great Neck!
Sebag became an EMT this year to help provide life-serving assistance to his community, and was pleased to celebrate orientation for #QueensHatzolah!
Antisemitism has no place in New York City.
We are deeply outraged by the rise in antisemitic hate; 662 incidents motivated by anti-Jewish bias have been documented since January alone.
We stand united with NYC's Jewish communities and against hatred.
