It's challenging to talk about these concepts well. It's taken me years to get to the point where I feel as though I'm starting to be okay at it. What I have found is that simplest is best. I know I'm getting close when I can explain it to a layperson without stumbling.

I think the simulation hypothesis is a bit dangerous because of the reasons you're mentioning. Believing in a sim implies, like you say, a sim creator, a 'real' world located somewhere else, and the existence of a supporting narrative suggestive of a hidden reveal due any moment.

I liken our circumstance more to being fixated on a single observational vantage point to the point of forgetting others exist. Observation is a sensory process concerned with action. It provides certainty but restricts depth-of-field.

Observation is the world of past-tense events. Because all observations are past-tense events when experienced, examining them exclusively never reveals the present moment. To do that, we need to turn around into the current of life, which has no past, future or identity.

Many people feel the truth of this. Living only in the land of observation feels unreal after a while. Mistaking the past for the present does that. Feels like a sim.

There's a little understood but ironclad law in thermodynamics that says that the wider the gulf is between your advertised interface and your actual implementation, the more entropy you will accrue, eventually destroying yourself from entropy overwhelm.

Understanding this law, and after spending a few minutes on this platform, it is clear to me that both American political parties, our entire political system, and Israel are all careening rapidly towards inevitable self-destruction.

Not only that, but this velocity is accelerating as everyone performs exactly the actions that will cause their own destruction.

It's a stark thing to see after not spending much time here recently.

The degree to which people are utterly dedicated to destroying themselves would be truly admirable if they weren't destroying themselves.

Herculean levels of effort are being spent towards this endeavor right now.

And yet, this is what you demonstrate, over and over again.

You're careening towards your destruction, which will be caused because the chasm between your projected image and your observable behavior is causing you to accrue entropy at a rapid rate.

You seem to have no awareness of the fact that this is a major problem and are completely blind to understanding this principle.

Because of this, and because the law I just described is physical, the destruction of Israel is essentially assured, and it will not be external forces that do it in.
