@Davolaar The “initiates contact” argument is weird. Isn’t that for kicking the defender, or dangling a leg jumping over a goalkeeper?
What Mo’s done here is shielded the ball to prevent a challenge, same as a defender seeing the ball out for a GK.

As long as first touch of the ball was within field of play, you can jump up and juggle the ball as many times as you like as long as you finally land in play for the final catch

So A will paint 5/8ths of the house. A whole house takes A 180mins so 5/8ths is 112.5 mins.
B does 3/8ths of their 300 min house, also 112.5 mins.

Only 2 Liverpool players exceed this (VVD and Diaz)
Liverpool’s equivalent is 2,140 (-1 game) So each of our top 11 contributed in ~3 matches fewer on average. Thats not rotation, it’s missing winners consistently.

@Corballyred Suspect it’s more to do with injuries. Arsenal have had near enough their best 11 all season.
We’ve had Alisson, Trent, Robbo, Jota, Salah, Matip, Thiago, Jones, Konate & more out at various times.
We did well to stick in, with the hope players would be “fresh” but needed rhythm
