@FloraMcShortbr1 @supertanskiii There’s a big warehouse in Kent full of the impounded dinghies and engines. After the occupants were rescued that boat would have been impounded with the rest of them. Please don’t tell me you believe the authorities take the impounded boats back to France 🙄.

@Charleslyqy @supertanskiii That’s not an RIB though. It’s just a cheap Chinese made inflatable raft designed for one single use. Quite what that dipstick was trying to achieve after the passengers had been loaded on to the “rescue” vessel I have no idea? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sure they are not starving but living in scruffy apartment blocks isn’t my life goal. And a few miles outside Moscow they don’t have paved roads and indoor toilets.

@blairvic02 Funny, I was traveling to tel Aviv with easyJet. There was a lady with a baby sat next to me. They said did i want to move? I didn’t. they then asked me to move to a row further back. When I went back there the guy lying accross 3 seats refused to get up to allow me to.

@RCEY28 I dunno 🤷‍♀️ my wife drives a manual and won’t consider an automatic, its difficult to find manual car’s these days. My son is learning in her manual so he has the choice of either when he gets his next car.

@chatswithem Interestingly I have just been in Finland, majority wind power and nuclear energy means electricity can be €0.01/kwh. Sometimes wind energy makes so much they pay industrial users to use the electricity.

@karldm1 @robinmonotti He doesn’t care he will be 6 feet under or a cloud of carbon coming out of a crematorium chimney. Can’t argue with an old gammon. Why not embrace the business opportunities that renewable energy offers? Of course the fossil fuel industry doesn’t want that.

@RobertCatchpol3 @LizRead168 @benonwine Yes he’s steering the ship NOW but if has been heading in the wrong direction for 14 years it’s going to be difficult to turn in round and get back to where it should be in only 2 years without throwing a huge amount of money at it…..which they don’t have.
