In March 2022, Russia dropped an aerial bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theater, where hundreds of people were sheltering – children among them. It deliberately turned this place into a mass grave, committing a blatant war crime.

The word “CHILDREN” was written in front of the theater to make it unmistakably clear that civilians – including the youngest residents of Mariupol – were hiding inside from Russia's attack. For Russia, this became not a reason to stop, but another reason to strike.

December 2025 – three years later – Russia is hosting festive events to mark the so-called “reopening” of the theater, at the very site where Mariupol’s civilians were killed, accompanied by dances, concerts, and celebrations.

This is deliberate terror and a deliberate attempt to evade responsibility. Russia must be held accountable for taking the lives of innocent people and for committing genocide against the Ukrainian people.

З першої години ночі було гучно, прокинулись від вибухів #балістики під час нічної атаки на Дніпро. Перешли з малими спати в коридор, хоча ніхто вже потім спав. Малі затуляли вуха, було страшно. Так і просиділи до 4 ранку.

Нічка була така собі. Прокинулись близько 4 години ранку від вибухів шахедів, побігли в коридор. Малі боялися, затуляли вуха. Коли все скінчилося, старша донька змогла уснути після слів про відбій тривоги, а так постійне відчуття що може знов буде летіти і фіг заснеш. Клята русня

Донька (6 років) загубилась на прогулянці з бабусею. Пішла шукати сама. Переляк, сльози, поліція. Добре, що знайшли швидко. Хоча багато разів казав: залишайся там, де загубилась. У кризу - інстинкти перемагають правила.

The child in the video is a 2-year-old Mykyta, a victim of russia’s attack on Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital. He is also the kid in the photo taken right after the attack.

Mykyta is suffering with Lyell syndrome (toxic epidermal necrolysis), a severe skin condition, and because of russian terrorism he and nearly 100 other children have been forced to relocate to another hospital for treatment.

Mykyta, an innocent child who has already endured so much, deserved none of this. He and his family were in the hospital when the russian rocket struck. Though injured, they survived, but tragically russia took the lives of 4 other children within seconds that day, injured eight more, and caused immeasurable trauma for hundreds of families.

Russians have taken the lives that had barely begun.
