@Ikkenospes@Ikkenospes and @wcrelease any updated thoughts on hemnet? It's surprising how much the stock has fallen but the data is also not confidence inspiring...
@pmje73 How do you think about industry structure counter examples? Many industries are "oligopolies in name only." $OI comes to mind where you have oligopoly industry, yet stock is flat vs 1991! Many similar examples. Isn't that an example of "biz quality" over industry structure?
@wolfejosh Extreme anchoring: Start with an outrageous opening offer and walk it back to what you actually want. Trump uses it all the time... and somehow it still manages to catch the world off guard.
@pernasresearch I'm not sure I understand this & might be missing the point... but if we were to use Buffett's portfolio as an example that everyone knows... isn't his portfolio driven by a few names (AAPL, KO, GEICO, etc) on both a $ and % basis?
@ColubeatID@Mr_Neutral_Man nice write up on $ERF @ColubeatID. I am amazed how negative the sentiment has been. Dr. Martin has one of the best track records in history...and has been buying shares in the open market (in addition to ERF buying back their own shares).
@stuartbuck1 Great post @stuartbuck1. Love what you are building at the Good Science Project. Your work reminds me of Thomas Kuhns comment in the Structure of Scientific Revolutions: "Normal Science often suppresses fundamental novelties because they are subversive of its basic commitments"
@tferriss@ericschmidt Great interview @tferriss. I love Sergey's 70-20-10 framework. @ericschmidt says @Google arrived at this via Sergey's math. Has anyone come across the actual mathematical support of this concept?
@wcrelease Great post. Sounds like you know the market well, you must live in Sweden! Can you remind us what the re-listing change was? Is that a function of customers choosing premium packages? Also how did you arrive at the ~600 re-listing estimate? Thx!
@RagingVentures@AlokANYC Great interview. @AlokANYC you mention that Julian had identified an issue based on how the stock was trading. Any chance you could elaborate on what he saw? Was it general technical pattern (i.e. down trend, below moving avg, etc) or something more specific?
@olensrud Also worth noting, home sale volumes in many countries are at very depressed levels.ย So many housing portals are likely trading at depressed multiples on depressed earnings.
