@CBCScott Has anyone asked the City to provide data to support their claim that car washes in this city are using 85% recycled water? I have not seen a single car wash advertise this, and I know for a fact that many car washes use ZERO recycled water

@cityofcalgary Are you able to explain where you got the information that car washes recycle 85% of their water? I have not seen a single car wash website that states that. 80% and 60% is the most I've seen, and that only accounted for four car washes in the entire city.

@nancyleam @breezemom27 @JyotiGondek City of Calgary didn't allow car washes to reuse water until a couple of years ago, so most washes in Calgary wouldn't be reusing water, and almost none of them reuse 100% of it.

@NotJustDave @simtwittar @cityofcalgary Maybe in some other municipalities, but I think the City of Calgary only allowed car washes to start reusing water in 2022, but it still isn't mandatory today.
