@JenniferJoyOK @OKC_SPAN 100% Jennifer. The name calling, quick temper, and infighting aren't a good look, but the more tempered critiques and analysis are refreshing! Wonder if we can get more of the latter and less of the former in 2024 โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
@joewertz I think the final results might look a lot like these early and absentee voter percentages. Maybe we'll get a t-shirt for our loyalty๐ค๐ผ
@davidfholt Love the apocalyptic messaging that our city might roll away like a tumbleweed without a newer arena ๐คฃ and the mayor would blame us rather than his poor negotiation, closed door methods, and billionaire overlords
@cbrouster85 Hey, Brouster. What if we prefer to fund more needed services with our sales tax and let the team owners pay the majority of their own way?
@SoonerDEW@IAmMikeLucky@JenniferJoyOK Whoa! The NBA eliminated our need for public transportation, parks, pools, and social safety net?! Now that's news
@JD__Baker@SHesq16 What's the facts on rent? None. The owners will make waaaayyyy more $$$ at this new arena and that's what we're really voting on- their benefit, not ours.
Somehow the Thunder will help businesses in the area even though (per recent closures) they're not helping now. Good to know psychics work for the city.
@fancyroyce Brought to you by the City of OKC ... It's for your own good ... Do what the mayor says ... And don't look behind the curtain at his billionaire puppeteers!
@charlesw0781@davidfholt Because you're voting yes no matter what they do or don't offer ... They're not even matching our contribution, and they're collecting cash from all sales and uses beyond Thunder games ๐ฎโ๐จ
