@PosenIzzy Awareness is half the solution, as they say. But its a super risky thing to do, hard to see how it'd end well. Damned if you do, damned if you don't
@PosenIzzy Lots of interesting thinking but how to action this? How can a community set of mechanics be found guilty? If a whole community only uses cash, which law is broken and by who?
@MichaelRosenYes@JohnCleese Ah I see, thanks for that. He clearly goes on to say though that he believes the isr gov that they're only doing necessary things and protecting civilians etc. So yeah, it's complicated. He wants to support the moral 'goodies' and thinks he knows who that is
@LoveIntegrity9@RoyalFamily Don't pretend that 1:1 violence is the same as a community being attacked at random on the street. I doubt that logic will help free palestine
@AndreaR26537960@Jennifrazer@MissLauraMarcus@EamonnGaines Huh??? No one is policing themselves. The law applies equally. If people set up warden type roles to act within the law, that's fine. Bit like the zillions of private security roles at events, shops, work sites etc... They keep us all safer and the law governs that
@matilda_peace@Abbas2real4u@Lowkey0nline@jvgraz Deary me. Thats not what happened. The CCTV was released much much later on after people took videos on phones and shared them. Whether it was some false flag thing or not, don't assume a whole community is conspiring to do it
@AndreaR26537960@Jennifrazer@MissLauraMarcus@EamonnGaines SUPPORTED by the jewish community, not EXCLUSIVE to it. Obvs community efforts don't reach the scale of gov ones but they're not sectarian for that, they're just using community power to do their bit.
Loads of charities have to be limited to geog areas, its not all or nothing
@k1482@Jennifrazer Just google it if you really want to know. They're not exactly hiding with their open websites, x accounts, facebook, cqc registration, hi-vis labelling etc...
It's supported by the jewish community, NOT exclusive to it
@doctor_rahmeh Every single court that has set itself up under the Arbitration Act. Just like any other arbitrator can. Unlike your bitter narrative, the rule of law here is applied equally
@implausibleblog@FirehorseP Oh please don't destroy the valid debate with drivel. Gardening and cleaning are NOT more lucrative than medicine. And someone asking a protester a question is NOT harassment to those who can tolerate different opinions
@CllrWalters@SalfordCouncil Good point. BUT I suggest tax rates are influenced by properous city centres eg Harrow charges more than Mcr plus has £££ CPZs. Basically someone has to pay for it somewhere so makes sense to me to charge people contributing to the problem and spend that on solving it
@CllrWalters@SalfordCouncil True but it must be expensive. In London a lot of people pay to park on their street.
I actually saw the team on Vine St yest and they really weren't sparing any leaves. Way more thorough than I thought. The leaves looked terrified
