@TheWingoNetwork Hammond is as much the part of Chicagoland area as W Burbs. Maybe more because post covid floods of people left Illinois across the border. Politics turned this into some arbitrary thing as a state line. Simply put. Illinois/Chicago has decades to fix the spaceship. They haven't.
BREAKING NEWS in the murder of 23-year-old Brett Scrogham.
IMPD makes an arrest of a juvenile in the case.
The juvenile arrested today on the west side of Indianapolis is 14 years old!
Scrogham was shot Thursday May 28th in a parking garage near the convention center when he was shot in the head and killed.
Scrogham graduated in May from IU’s Kelley School of Business and was named one of the top in his class.
We have many sources that have told us different information on this case and I’ll clarify when I can!
@thescorechicago A Mayor saying this shows he has zero concerns about pushback. Tone deaf, not reading the room, zero attention to fans. I'd say I'm shocked but look at what Chicago has become for years....and he's just another cog in the machine. Good luck Chicago. This is your Mayor.
@thescorechicago@SpiegsAndHolmes I continue to be amazed that people are trying to somehow shift or point blame to the Bears. The idea of the Bears owing it to the city is like 1985 thinking. The city has had decades to show/embrace how valuable the Bears are (and vice versa) and here we are.
BREAKING: @GovBraun will extend Indiana’s gas tax holiday for another 30 days. Per @GasBuddy, the average price for gas in the state is $3.56 per gallon. Details on Gov. Braun’s decision coming up tonight on @FOX59 & @CBS4Indy.
@aaron_renn Just go Saturday morning at 9. Start at Main head South until the Japanese Gardens. You can fast forward the video/post. People will see all the trees, people, growth, activities, real estate,etc...they need.
I know the Tour owns the current course but this is an area across multiple venues that has supported the tour dating back to the QC Classic days. They've gone out of their way to accommodate the PGA Tour. Some loyalty isn't out of line @PGATOUR#johndeereclassic
PGA Tour has asked John Deere to shift tournament in the future from Quad Cities to Chicago, per @AdamSchupak.
This comes as PGA Tour looks to move "track one" schedule to new markets.
@Chicago_NFL Born in Elmhurst. Raised in farm town in NW Illinois. Went to IU, moved to Indy 30 years ago. Bears have always needed to be at the Lake. With that said the phrase "some are so far behind they actually think they're leading the race" seems to apply to some of the locals lately.
@ProFootballTalk $223 Billion in debt and now he's worried about an extra Billion or two in something that not only provides thousands of jobs, local contracts...it also provides big incomes to workers who spend/buy,etc...(sales/property taxes). This is all optics for his national run.
@MotorcityJ@TheMasters I was 0-27 and now 1-28. Got Tuesday practice round where you can bring your camera. It's as glorious as you can imagine. Keep trying...it will happen eventually.
@JTTheBrick I don't know the context of your specific tweet but I'll say this. National Fox radio has someone on leading up to DP that shouldn't be hosting a show. He had a guest on talking Garrett and his question started at 8:12am and didn't end until 8:14. At the very min it was 61 secs.
I’ve been part of some incredible moments in my baseball life..
Being in the booth for this one tonight ranks with the best ever..
Massive thanks to @tom_hart & our phenomenal crew for making it shine!
Morgantown, take a bow.
An unforgettable experience.
Almost heaven..
@ggabefootball The politicians have watched companies like Boeing, Citadel, Caterpillar, Tyson, and several other large employers leave because of their inabilities....yet in an odd way some residents/media still think the politicians are right? Talk about being programmed. Scary, scary stuff.
@Maestermagoo All I'll say is whoever you are you've been absolutely on point for this entire process. You've handled the media angles/attacks from some of Chicago's finest who are blinded by loyalty. Kudos to you on the information. I say this as a lifelong #bears fan.
You mean like Indiana did months ago? Difference is Indiana can afford it. Illinois is just kicking the can....again and again and again and again. #bears
After the megaprojects bill collapsed in the Senate, lawmakers are drafting a last-minute pivot that would let local governments create stadium authorities — potentially allowing the Bears to avoid property taxes altogether. @brendenmoore13 reports. https://t.co/pWJXtp1jl7
@DrJesseMorse I've been off and on keto over the years but when I'm dialed in it's spicey/hot pork rinds. At least I feel like I'm eating something fun.
