For the creative category, team “Agentic Vibes” built “AI DJ”, which was a dope take on connecting up an AppleScript as a MCP server to sample images from the computer camera and play different songs using the Spotify MCP server in our repo (also previously built by the team).
We hosted the MCP NYC hackathon last night and I was stunned by how cool the projects were within 3 hours of building. In🧵are some of the winners!
Kudos to all of the attendees. It was great to meet everyone & hope to see more folks at the next one :)
I wish American cities take the time to learn something from you. In California we let rain water drain into the Bay or the Ocean. Why can’t we direct it better so it replenishes underground aquafers or just stay on the ground in the form of lakes and ponds?
When it was dead lake…No one use to come here….After rejuvenation more than 700+ people daily walk and 3000+ visits on Holidays…That is Margondanhalli Lake near Electronic City….Lakes not only help ecosystems…they REFRESH HUMANS 😊

Hi, I have all of 150 followers on Twitter. To all 150 of you dear friends please take a moment to call your Senators and House of Representative voicing your support for the Inflation Reduction Act. It will take all of 3 minutes. I just did it. You can too ♥️
The US Senate introduced the #InflationReductionAct of 2022 that includes $369B in climate and clean energy investments to bring down consumer energy costs and increase American energy security, while substantially reducing greenhouse gas emissions: https://t.co/spySkf7Lge
Thirty years ago, a bold plan was cooked up to spread doubt about climate change. The little-known meeting - between America's biggest industrial players & a PR genius - forged a devastatingly successful strategy that endured for years, with lack of action https://t.co/OkE5UxhFa8
Really cool graphing on a not so cool scenario of #climatechange and #GlobalWarming. Notice how International Transport sticks out by itself, how large those #emissions are, and oh by the way those cargo shops are often transporting coal! #nehlepedehla 😐https://t.co/qHzLgz5d76
On this day when we are experiencing record breaking #HeatWaves all around the world let us take a moment to read this article from 2015 https://t.co/s31B4xMEik about what Exxon knew in 1977!!!

This is from an article published in 2010 by the #NYTimes, based on research by John Lyman, an oceanographer at the University of Hawaii's Joint Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Research- "between 1993 and 2008, the upper 700 meters of the oceans absorbed about 0.6 watts
