@CLR78253 @MTJakeEaton Medicaid gives moneys to states to fund programs & states must fund an additional amount. Some may expand coverage further, others won’t have money -mostly poor red states that already get a higher share of aid from the federal budget. States will have to make cuts. MTP, LTC etc

@CLR78253 @MTJakeEaton How does a safety net program cut by BILLIONS over the next 10 years not hurt? People will either go without medical care risking health, or will go into debt/bankruptcy trying to keep it. Consumer Reports in 2017 named ACA as the reason for bankruptcies decreasing by HALF.

@MTJakeEaton Some truth, some inaccuracies. Medicaid expansion, which not all states did (TX!), opened eligibility to include non-elderly, non disabled citizens under 138% FPL. Higher incomes CAN use subsidies for ACA marketplace, but pay OOP $ too. Seniors with Medicaid also - this will hurt

@mblairYQR who does PointStreak for @ReginaRedSox? Curious why a bunt advancing runners scores as an error instead of a sac. In TX, if not a hit, then it’s a Sac and E1 for the advance to second by the bunter. Had the bunter been out, the AB would not hurt his BA, an E does.

In ‘95, I became an LA fan, and we also suffered through some awful ownership after the O’Malleys sold the Dodgers between the ‘96 and ‘97 seasons….. but nothing like the Pads.
