@ThePrimeagen coding is solved, why use git itself, just copy code to prod, even better just have one copy of prod that all agent modify. Coding ia solved, we wont have any issues
Crucial to TigerBeetle’s success has been that we’re a global remote company, hiring the best people we can find, wherever we can find them.
It’s just harder to find world champion people like this, if you’re always limiting yourself to thinking with a local physical geographical mentality only.
The world of software, “the digital frontier” is invisible, without borders.
However, sometimes, a kind of restricted physical thinking arises as a reaction to conflating “remote” with “work from home” or “culture” with being in “the same room”.
Yet, “remote” and “work from home” are not the same, and a strong corporate culture in the long term can never sustainably depend on everyone being in “the same room” (that doesn’t scale!).
For example, many of our team work from small offices, not from home. And our culture is not “where we are”, but “who we are”, the deep intrinsic values we all share.
Therefore, we’re remote, and don’t over-specify that we require physical proximity to function.
Rather, just as the distributed systems we design are best designed logically, not physically, so too the organization we design at TigerBeetle is designed logically.
A "little" demo of Order of the Sinking Star has been released on Steam. Around 4 hours of gameplay, but that's only a tiny fraction of this monumental game with more than 1000 puzzles. I'm composing this score with Martin Stig Andersen.

My family is donating another $400,000 to the Zig Software Foundation. Zig is exceptional software. I use AI every day. Zig has one of the strongest anti-AI policies in open source. We disagree on some things, but respect doesn’t require agreement. https://t.co/gaOuwjDDtm
People really like the demo for Order of the Sinking Star ... but it goes away on Monday morning! If you are interested in high-quality puzzle games, try it out before it's gone!

I am psyched for this!
I did not expect to like OOTSS because I don't like "Sokoban games", and I did not even finish some of the short-form ones that OOTSS was based on. Having now played the first part of the demo, the puzzle uniqueness and pacing are so good that it is a literal game-changer for me. You settle in to a rhythm and it becomes a "play ten levels before bed" kind of activity that you look forward to at the end of the day.
Big congrats to Team Thekla! Somehow they turned "1000 levels of Sokoban" from something that sounded like a threat to something I'm now genuinely looking forward to :)
Quick reminder: We will be releasing our #SteamNextFest demo content update tomorrow at 9am PT! 🔜

Epic Games open-sourced Lore, a new version control system built specifically for game development.
Why it matters:
• Built in Rust for handling terabytes of binary assets
• Uses Merkle trees for deduplication and storage efficiency
• Supports lightweight branching and offline workflows
• Designed to solve Git's binary file limitations and reduce reliance on expensive Perforce setups
• Already powering Fortnite's development internally for over a year
• Runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Released under the MIT license and available on GitHub
Game projects keep getting bigger, but version control hasn't evolved fast enough.
Epic thinks Lore could become the Git equivalent for massive game assets.
Beware: This puzzle gets a little… heated. 🔥
Shoutout to @giantwaffle for tanking the flames like a champ.🫡

At OpenAI, we're continuing to bet on Rust as the future of systems programming.
I'm proud to announce that we're making a $600,000 commitment to the Rust Foundation, which combines our Platinum membership with additional support for maintainer efforts across the Rust ecosystem.
I'm not sure if people realize just how A+ @Jonathan_Blow 's sound design is in Order of the Sinking Star. It's a feast for the ears. Listen closely... Every single sound has a perfect balance to it. They're never annoying, but you hear them constantly. Over and over. I'm inspired
