@streamlabs =P I've been streaming for a year & haven't changed any settings. Pre-update I hadn't seen any problems. When I closed our output display, GPU use instantly dropped from ~100% to ~20% . CPU use was nil. I'm happy to send metrics & diagnostics, but that advice won't help.

Entertainment is just weird because the *only* places that are sustainable are high-profile, and that's where social media becomes a double-edged sword.

The one thing that brings me comfort is how they've managed to completely eff up in the most visible, irredeemable ways, yet come out the other side with just as much power and support. Just requires god-tier BSing abilities and confidence.

We didn't see this response to the Pandemic protests because businesses just don't care if the governor personally is threatened if it means their business reopens sooner, so provoking/inciting riots gains nothing. So I guess: the beatings will continue until consumerism improves

All I have to say about #seattleprotests is: The police feel like more of an occupying force than ever. But - they act at the behest of our mayor and governor. These past three days exposed the thinness of American democracy's veneer when it conflicts with business interests.

While businesses aren't incentivized to suppress legitimate protest, the police are incentivized to scare business owners or those otherwise isolated from economic reality to get funding/protection. And so: they've actively escalated conflicts since the #GeorgeFloydMurder
