Our Cohort 5 scholars explored the power of mind-body connection this week through a Tai Chi session led by Malik Cadwell of @MSKCancerCenter 🧘🧘‍♀️ Malik integrates martial arts and meditation into therapeutic care for pediatric patients and families.

We are excited to introduce Cohort 5!

The 16 scholars kicked off our year-long program at the @Yankees Stadium with a week-long intensive training, where they learned to analyze a stock using Python, a computer coding language, and leveraged AI to enhance their code.

SEI in the Community!

It was great to join the Community School District 6 STEM Expo!

Students and parents had the opportunity to learn about our programs.

We had the chance to see robotics and science projects created by students from across the District!

Recently, our scholars participated in our annual Surgical Robotics Day at @MSKCancerCenter . m.

Our scholars learned the functionality of a surgical robot used to perform laparoscopic surgery. Below our scholars learn how to suture by hand and then by using a robot.

Our scholars recently had the incredible opportunity to hear from @JudeneSmallJL of the @a16zclf Cultural Leadership Fund.

The Cultural Leadership Fund is Silicon Valley's first venture capital fund composed exclusively of Black cultural leaders.

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who stood up for what is right in the eyes of God and Man.

Dr. King demanded that we stand by the United States Declaration of Independence's words, which states "all men are created equal".
