We are very happy to share new exciting work from the lab!! We found that delivering real-time, closed-loop, microstimulation to the OFC, triggered by social gaze events, boosts social attention dynamics during real-life social gaze interaction.

If you're a neuroscientist, you've probably heard that congress passed final appropriations for FY24, with deep cuts (~40%) to BRAIN Initiative. Advocates are now pushing for +$740 million in FY25 and @SfNtweets made it easy for you to add your voice here:

The great Daniel Dennett has died. Terribly sad news. He was a wonderful philosopher and a wonderful human being. I will miss him greatly as I know so many others will too. https://t.co/mK2CVyfrI9

To adjust quickly to daylight savings, get up at your usual (clock) time & get 10-45min of exercise, ideally outside & facing the sun (if it’s out/rising/even if cloudy). The combined effects of bright light and exercise have a synergistic effect on circadian clock shifts.
Great opportunity for PhD students and early career neuroscientists.
#IBRO exchange fellowship is now open.
Priority is given for applications from underrepresented or low-income groups to support their ongoing work and boost collaborations.
