1. As author & editor of a standard textbook on 🇿🇦criminal law, I can confirm that SA has a violent crime problem (just as the US has a gun violence problem). But violent crime affects Black 🇿🇦 exponentially more compared to white 🇿🇦 (incl. Afrikaners).

@sowelleconomics I agree with the statement but this is a Classic strawman argument when it relates to Africa’s development. I’d urge you to research the coup launched in the DRC to overthrow Patrice Lumumba or more recently, Libya’s Gaddaffi with specific reference to the actors behind it.

@VusiThembekwayo Attempted this whilst at Uni VT. Tested MVP at local gov level in western cape, lots of interest in the end to end digitalization of the process. Presenting at National Treasury was furtherest we got. Would require serious buy in from from current CPO to scale nationally.
