“It kind of made my skin crawl.” -@CoachBBallard
How Washburn's assistant coach @CoachTDfor3 pushed head coach Brett Ballard to evolve on the defensive end this season.
The team’s willingness to seek change has allowed them to reach the Final Four.

The Fort Lewis student section played a huge role in the Skyhawks win in the RMAC Tournament Championship game on Saturday night.
The official attendance at the game was 2,047.
At least 1,975 were there to cheer on the hometown Mesa Mavericks, and they were very unwelcoming to the extremely talented Fort Lewis team.
However, Fort Lewis had approximately 16 students in the first two rows behind the RMAC Championship sign that cheered on and encouraged the Skyhawks with the same decibel level and intensity as 160 fans.
The support these 16 students provided during play, timeouts, and even Mesa free throws 😊, was extraordinary and had a visible positive impact on the Skyhawk’s performance.
The Fort Lewis basketball program, athletic department, and boosters, need to find a way to get these 16 kids down to Canyon. They were inspiring!!
Fort Lewis extended its win streak to 10 games with its 95-71 win over Western CO on Saturday night.
Fort Lewis was dominant down low, scoring 48 points in the paint compared to Western CO’s 20 points.
Furthermore, Fort Lewis scored 4 times as many points off turnovers than Western CO, scoring 28 to the Mountaineers’ 7.
Leading Fort Lewis to the win were:
🏀 Isaiah Thompson, 18 pts, 2 rebs, & 1 assist;
🏀 Obi Agbim, 17 pts & 2 rebs;
🏀 Brayden Carter, 12 pts & 4 rebs; &
🏀 Malik Whitaker, 11 pts, 5 rebs, & 2 assists.
Here are a few of Fort Lewis’ highlights from Saturday night’s win:
“He's brought a lot of toughness to our program, a great interior defender, excellent rebounder, and he's just getting better and better offensively," @FLCMBasketball’s @BPietrack said of @sekoudemb12🏀
