For the eighth consecutive month, inflation decreased, falling from about 12.1% in July to 11.5% in August 2025. Despite the oil slump, services and non-oil sectors drove the 6.3% YoY growth in Q2 GDP. However, since credit is still expensive and the cost of capital is impeding growth, more drastic interest rate reductions are required.
