Christianity never expects it's followers to ban LGBT+ using state force, Christians don't have an equivalent of Sharia.
There is a difference between Sin & Crime. While Crime is something which the State/Civil authorities can prosecute & punish, whereas sins committed by person can be punished only by God. Crime is an act which harms someone else, whereas Sin is an act which is against the commands of God. The state doesn't have to concern itself with victim less scenarios and go about invading others' privacy.
