This account’s purpose is to engage with #retwit by sharing my successful tips & experiences in landing KILLER seller carry (& other) deals, with a fuck ton of funny fails to learn from too.
That’s the goal at least, but I know I’ll inevitably add RE shit that makes me laugh too
Random D3, D2, D NCAA transfer portal player’s sad “hype” posts (my fault 4 liking local Boise State boys’ posts)
Most recently,@robert_matulich pathetic “hype” video of 15lb lunges, I feel bad 4 these 27 no talent no future “seniors”, it’s over, get a job Unk.NIL ain’t 4 u
NIL really fucked so many of these “kids” into thinking they had a future in pro ball and even worse, the false promise to D3, D2, D desperate players that they mattered enough to not be immediately disposable. Hopefully they didn’t buy the hype& actually got degrees that matter
@BowTiedSalesGuy I get 100 telemarketer calls a day. They get 0.5 to 10 sec of my time before the 99.99% immediate "no" click
I'm an investor not a telemarketer
Goal #1:
Make a lot of $ with killer deals.
Spend the extra time researching/making intentional calls and make more fuc*ing money
Terrible take
Yes volume matters, but nowhere near as much as building a personal relationship
Calls that start relationships/respect are worth 5000x empty calls at volume
1000 short call "no's" stay a "no"
50 calls focused on relationships lead to 20 "yes'" now AND later
Cold calls shouldn’t be longer than a couple minutes. Rarely will you do deeper discovery here.
Every minute counts, so the Pattern Interrupt “buys” us time to plow forward
It’s also incredible at getting attention and arousing curiosity
@heIpfullandlord Oh shit man!
Only thing to do now:
Play in the grey. Hire the local community shithead leader (the street shot caller of the neighborhood’s specific set).
Deposit with the promise of a healthy full payment upon completion
@ThinkAppraiser Another reason to do the appraiser’s job for them. Provide your own accurate comps based on your real knowledge of the market. Especially, in these days of the 3rd party out of town appraisers
@KingKonah @etherealearthh @financedystop Nothing wrong with the country fence, right?!
Stakes and paint have been effective for centuries!
The ‘ol redneck fence.
@TheDrugMoney Sounds nice! I never feel rich. Prob on purpose.
I have low to low/mid 8 figures of equity in heavy cash flowing assets, a few 100k in taxable accts & expenses very under control…BUT my liquidity regularly (≈monthly) goes from ≈$200k-$2k. More comfortable looking at the $2k

Pound the pavement to find your niche, master it, and become THE first guy/gal people think of in regard to it.
My niche: finding, creating, and closing killer seller carry deals.
