@xXMorgueMuttXx@wise_prism The queer community can be harsh to binary trans men, esp those who wish to live life as any other cis man. But even so, I see much more hatred towards trans women. You could’ve simply mentioned that we as trans men struggle as well, but instead you chose to mention trans women
Hi, person who was an adult in 2006 here 👋. The normie views of the time were that gay people deserved civil unions, vaccines were common sense, the Iraq War was bad, trans people were harmless oddities, and legal immigrants deserved a path to citizenship.
@GouberSill66404@serketmaxxing Exactly? I‘m not saying trans women are male, I‘m saying he reduces trans women to what he thinks they are. Read again and pay attention to context clues instead of getting offended.
@magicspeedwagon There are still sexually dimorphic aspects of the brain. There's a neuron with a neurotransmitter where it's 2x the size in males vs females. You can accurately determine sex solely from this. Take a wild fucking guess how it works with trans people. lmao.
@Aliceinwunderl3 Shit I actually argued with that person and they kept going back on their word by claiming there were words being put into their mouth when you actually called them out for their disgusting claims.
And tiktok is never going to be a valid source for creating opinions on scientific facts nor for your morals. You people actually have to pick up a book and allow yourself to read.
Gender incongruence does not exist without dysphoria, & dysphoria does not exist without gender incongruence.
Transsexuality is not a choice. The scientific and psychological literature provides substantial support for this.
ICD10, ICD11, and DSM5, are fairly easy to understand.
Disagreement about definitions or treatment is completely legitimate as people have different needs but pretending the underlying phenomenon does not exist is not.
ICD-10, ICD-11, & DSM-5 use different terminology and frameworks, but they all recognize clinically significant gender-related distress & incongruence.
Gender incongruence and dysphoria are clinical concepts, not political inventions. They describe experiences that have been documented across different populations and recognized in major diagnostic systems.
