In my head cannon, "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena" by Jan and Dean predicts that the badass women of the Fast & Furious universe thrive past middle age.
Saw the 70mm IMAX version of @odysseymovie this afternoon. Great on rewatch. It was lovely being able to see such detail in the costumes. And I really hope Anne Hathaway gets awards for her performance as Penelope.
Some news: my political thriller pilot NET ASSESSMENT is a Quarterfinalist in @FinalDraftInc's Big Break!
It's a story about an ex-CIA officer using a black ops Pentagon AI to make America "the good guys" around the world again, burying reality along the way. #screenwriting
These reminders are so helpful! When @MikeRoe and I moved into our previous place and the AC was ineffective/a bit broken, we definitely needed some of these cool indoor spaces to chill in.

I know it must happen occasionally, but it felt uncanny that in a novel I’m reading this week: the calendar date (month/year) I started it was the same as a significant event in the main character’s life. Also, it referenced a movie I’d watched the day before I got to that part.
Niche comment: Given its track record, I’m grateful that the AMC Burbank 16 upward escalator was working when I went to see a movie with friends for my birthday!

Printing presses kept their letters in cases.
Capital letters went in the upper case.
Smaller letters went in the lower case.
This is why we say ‘UPPER CASE’ and ‘lower case.’
Ok, but what did we call them before the invention of the printing press?
MAJUSCULE and minuscule.

Curious about @TheRock's Hawaiian mafia movie idea?
Then check out the TV pilot script for THE PEOPLE'S KINGDOM written by me & @semiprosaic! (DMs open!)
This story is personal—my uncle was in the Hawaiian mob. He was killed. We dug deep to tell a story inspired by his POV.
One of my first friends in L.A. just lost his home to fire. Collin has always been there for his community; if you're looking for someone who will genuinely appreciate your help, he's the guy.
So many in need. My heart & prayers are with all of y'all.
