Last week we had our full company meetup in Whistler, BC, CA. We flew people in from around the world and rented out most of the Nita Lake Lodge. Gorgeous spot.
People are aways curious about what we do with the time, so I figured I'd share the full schedule for the week.
There are only two mandatory all-company events: The All Hands on Monday morning and the Peer Appreciation closing session on Thursday.
Otherwise it's entirely open. Teams connect, people get together in small groups to hang or work on stuff, folks go on planned excursions, grab meals, etc. Breakfast and lunch is provided every day. Lots of stuff happens off schedule too, so it's not all represented below.
Let me know if you have any Q's.
@SergioRocks This is part of a learning, but I would encourage ppl to observe things, and not leave the family to suffer b/c you need to finish that feature to present to the customer. Everything can be done differently when there’s an organized approach. Never be absent for your right family
It’s out ! 🚀 our new queryless experience for Loki go check it out with it 😎. Massive thank you 🙏 to everyone involved, this is a new beginning https://t.co/9hEhtokTpu
@VicVijayakumar@LBacaj I’ve seen this happening all the time, for example they create a sister company moving ppl from the main company to create a white label solution. Those who join are the “smartest”. What happens, they fail because their mindset is still to the old company 💣
