Lucy Connolly is a mother. She has a 12 year old daughter. She posted one stupid thing on social media, and soon deleted it. She was sentenced to 31 months in prison. Torn away from her family, for ONE stupid social media post. She now sits behind bars. This is INSANE.

Rapists and paedophiles get let off with less. This is not the Britain I know and love.

I’ve been pushing and pushing, trying everything possible as an MP. I even questioned Starmer on it in the Commons at PMQs. Quite frankly, his answer was total bullshit. I tabled a motion, gaining support from Labour and Tory MPs. No progress.

We ran out of road in Westminster. So next, is this petition - bringing it to the British people.

Lucy, and others like her, should not be in prison for foolish things they posted on the internet.

If we can get enough support, we can get a debate in Parliament. That brings media, attention and MPs. It can make a difference.

I’ve been talking to Ray, Lucy’s husband, and he and the family are fully supportive of this petition.

Lucy said one stupid thing and got locked up for it. Ripped away from her young daughter. You could be next. Please just think about that. It’s not just Lucy. Others are imprisoned for similar.

My heart goes out to them. It’s all just so disgusting, and if I can use my elected position to do anything it has to be worth a go...

Mass immigration has made Britain a more dangerous place for women.

The uncomfortable truth is that we have imported countless young men from alien cultures who have no respect whatsoever for women, and their behaviour reflects that.

This is a process that must be reversed.

Walk down almost any high street in England. There’s a vape shop, run by a foreign man who can barely speak English. There’s a Turkish barber, run by a foreign man who can barely speak English. There’s an ‘asian’ grocery store, run by a foreign man who can barely speak English.

Character, gone. Community, gone. Independent British shops, mostly wiped away.

It just doesn’t feel like England anymore.

Does all of this make our country richer? It certainly doesn’t feel like it, walking through the decaying heart of almost every town in the country.

The quiet, relentless erosion of community by the sheer scale and pace of change imposed from above - the sense that we were one nation, one people. It all just feels gone.

When gangs of foreign men loiter on street corners, shouting in their own language, drinking and spitting. Are we supposed to just accept that as normal? Is that now what our country is? Women feeling intimidated in their own towns?

Because I don’t like it. It did not used to be like this. It’s not England. And it doesn’t have to be like this.

The change that has been imposed on us? It is not permanent. It is not irreversible. It is not inevitable.

Before any of that can happen, we need to get our politicians to even begin to discuss these issues - honestly, openly and without fear. Labour, Reform, Conservative. All scared of their own shadows, terrified of being called racist by an establishment media based in leafy Surrey towns that are yet to be enriched by all of this wonderful immigration.

I am so past caring about what these people think. We deserve to feel at home in the towns that our ancestors built. Not unsafe, not intimidated, not unwelcome.

I’ve had enough of it. The British people have had enough of it.

It’s time the rest of Westminster caught up.

I’ve been visited 4 times in 3 days by Cheshire Police. Asking for a Voluntary interview about something I’ve tweeted. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Including a couple of women police officers knocking at 9.30pm last night when my kids were in bed.

I’ve given them my solicitors information and number. He then called to arrange an interview. No answer, so he left a voice message for the Sergeant who’d visited on the 1st occasion.

The last two women didn’t know there had been 3 visits in 3 days, apparently! Either it’s a shambles or an attempt to intimidate me and my family.
