I've started to get interested in Zelda, and man oh man do box controllers make this character fun :o

Consistent UpB Cancels from new places as well as mixups with -18 shield safety (usually between -30 and -45) can really alter the disadvantage state against so many characters.

Insane amount of buttons and connects to any console and PC easily. And open source to get my buttons and modifiers just like a keyboard:)

No way in hell would I agree, even though perfecting GD runs has much higher input barrier. I doubt many others would either.

@Kong9Chunky Untechable is true always except within a small threshold where you crashing into the wall (red artefacts that we understand as untechable) actually reduces your momentum enough for it to actually become techable.

Holding down -> LSI -> you’re closer to the said threshold.

I would absolutely hate it if being the best in the world would come down to being able to do frame perfect inputs with consistency.

I am fine with some excecution requirement, when it makes the game more fun (not L-Canceling btw).

Steve is an issue as a whole in the game and this is a very arbitary point to get hung on.

If he succeeds with the tech, he’ll use resources (dj, airdodge, stage control) or mining resources to try to punish the drifting opponent in this case.

If Wario reads Steve trying the tech itself, he can also go for a stronger punish.

@cxEmdy @JoeRaGnaRoK___ I don’t agree on special. Any F1-X option works (X being how many frames Gluto was off by).
Luigi uses Cyclone, Mac/Lucina use UpB, Pika uses F2 airdodge/Thunder.

Giving away stuff is irrelevant to this (Steve gives away too), it just wasn’t a true combo.

@El_Mince_ @JoeRaGnaRoK___ Uthrow uair can be done as a true combo. Gluto didn’t time it right and did it as untrue.

How do I know?

Because PMLG worked and cancelled the hitstun of the uair.
Had it been Bayo, the Bats Within would’ve done the same escape.

-30 and +30 are both completely fine, but usually in +30 you can enjoy yourself and just relax for much longer.

Neither is nice for working outside for prolonged periods of time.
