The Nightshades Special Project on Robinhood Chain will be one of the most fun, degenerate and unique onchain experiments ever attempted, so let’s break down each step and how the flywheel works.

LAUNCH

Nightshades consists of 4 competing factions. Each faction has its own NFT collection and its own token, meaning 4 NFTs and 4 tokens all launch simultaneously when the game begins.

All 4 tokens begin trading with an anti-snipe tax starting at 99% and gradually falling to 0%. During this period you can buy, but you cannot sell. The earlier you try to snipe, the more ETH you feed directly back into the game.

NIGHT — EVERY 24 HOURS

Every 24 hours, Night is triggered onchain.

The moment Night begins, public token trading AND NFT trading across all 4 factions are disabled while the next outcome is determined.

Cross-chain Chainlink VRF generates the randomness for each Night, with the result delivered through Chainlink CCIP. Nobody knows beforehand which factions will survive or how severe the damage will be.

75% of nights → 1 faction survives and 3 take damage

25% of nights → 2 factions survive and 2 take damage

The same random result determines the severity of the Night. Damaged factions have between 20% and 80% of their LP pulled, with safeguards ensuring a pool can never be completely drained.

SUNRISE

Once the Night is resolved, token and NFT trading reopen and Sunrise begins.

Token swaps reopen with a 99% anti-snipe tax that gradually falls to 0% over 60 minutes. This applies to BOTH buys and sells.

After the 60-minute Sunrise, normal trading resumes with the standard 1% pool fee until the next Night.

THE FLYWHEEL

Every anti-snipe tax is recycled back into the ecosystem:

50% → boosts the next Night
10% → LP for the taxed faction
13.33% → StockBooster
13.33% → protocol
13.34% → creator / Meebits

Every 24-hour cycle helps fund the next one. As more players join, more volume flows through the factions and more taxes accumulate, the size of the nighttime buys and boost pots can theoretically grow extremely large.

Users can also activate their Nightshades NFTs through The Anvil AMM to earn rewards generated by the AMM itself. Activation removes faction tokens from circulation, creating another deflationary mechanism across all 4 tokens.

You do not need to mint to participate. You can enter by minting if you have an allocation, buying any of the 4 faction tokens through Uniswap, or buying one of the NFTs on secondary.

CIVILIZATIONS PROTOCOL

Nightshades is the first implementation of a new onchain contract suite I developed called the Civilizations Protocol.

The Civilizations Protocol is the underlying infrastructure that powers the entire game: simultaneous faction launches, anti-snipe mechanics, recurring 24-hour Nights, Chainlink-powered random outcomes, liquidity damage and survival, Sunrise trading, tax redistribution, NFT interactions and the economic flywheel connecting each round to the next.

Nightshades is the first ever civilization built on top of it.
