Do not become desensitized to the increasingly brutal images and stories emerging from this Zionist genocide. Let your anger and compassion always outpace the brutality.

“Leaning on prose’s visual density and its illusion of order, I have tried to consider how thought, grief, and desire might be ways of tending to the self—even when ragged, even when askew.”

There to help, I once allowed the lettuce plants to fry to lace in minutes, like a joke. I cut my braids into the sink and thought about you on the bus. Tomatoes bubbled overnight, stovetop unattended.

Grad workers can't afford, on the current wage of $24k, to live in Ann Arbor. So I call upon President Ono and the administration to affirm their own words — to create a “new beginning” and “new energy on campus” by accepting @geo3550's latest proposal...
Last night, the @UMich Regents called our demand for a modest living wage of $38k "unrealistic". The estimated combined fortunes of only two of them would be enough to fund a living wage for more than 278 years. They could fund it for 218 years and still be billionaires.
well. @UMich has officially docked all pay but $100 for april from its grad workers, putting many of us in a position of dangerous financial precarity. friends/allies, please consider donating to @geo3550 strike fund at https://t.co/NlE4QIQXh6. we need all the help we can get ✊
🌺it feels so lucky to have this new poem/energy up at e-flux along with stunning poems by benjamin krusling @blk_blk_blk_blk, simone white, matt longabucco. w/such thanks to simone xxx

i made a giant seaweed cyanotype a few years back. its tendrils point, in their way, towards this poem: now an editor’s selection for @QuarterlyTupelo’s 29th issue! a generous intro & a compact folio: one wettish poem, one dryish. https://t.co/e0aUfqOp4m
