Tamarind originated from India, but do you know where India sources it from now? Right here (Senegal)
That's the Sunnah of God — taking what's in the east to the west, and taking what's in the west to the east.
- Mame Cheikh Tidiane Sy Al Maktoum
Shaykh Ahmad Ibn Muhammad at-Tijani صلى الله عليه وسلم admonished that: Whoever wants to defeat Shaytan and also do not want him (the cursed outcast) to have control over them should focus on perfecting their servitude (Ubudiyya) to Allah, maintaining sincerity (Ikhlas) and
"His lover will dwell in the highest place in Jannah; and his enemy (hater) will be rewarded with the scorching heat of Hellfire."
May Allah make us among his sincere lovers.
Whoever loves Shaykh at-Tijani رضي الله عنه will enter Jannah and whoever dies with his hatred will burn in Hellfire. This is a clear cut, as Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse رضي الله عنه said:
ولمن حبه أعالي جنان،
وبغيض حر الجحيم يجازى.
🧵 A beautiful reminder from Shaykh Ibrahim (ra):
وإن بليت باشتداد وشرور فاصبر سيأتيك انفراج وسرور
"If you are tested with hardship and afflictions, be patient—for relief and joy will come to you."

We all do not have the same level of knowledge, Emaan, Tawakul, and Spiritual insight and Taste ( zawq). So never judge, compare or engage people using You as a benchmark.
I knew Hijab was an Idrisid Sharif and his grandfather an Azhari Sufi saint, but reading the Silsilah fully now he is also the grandson of one of the greatest Sufi masters of his age, Sayyidi Abd al-Aziz al-Dabbagh (author of al-Ibriz)!
