ERITREA — When a reckless Ethiopian leader convinces himself that acting as a local proxy for the UAE's pursuit of "port imperialism" will advance his own delusional maritime ambitions on the Red Sea, the result is a confrontation between a state seeking to impose expansionist ambitions through force and neighboring countries determined to defend their sovereignty.
In that scenario, any war initiated by #Ethiopia over "𝘀𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗮" would not be a war of choice for #Eritrea, #Sudan, #Somalia, or #Egypt. It would be a war imposed upon them, leaving them little option but to work together to defend their territorial integrity, national sovereignty, and shared security interests.
The #Ethiopia|n ethnofascist gov. under Abiy Ahmed is exposed: its propaganda about #Eritrea’s Port #Asseb is nothing but expansionist deception. The truth can’t be hidden
A false narrative driven by expansionist ambitions, not truth. The world sees through his disinformation.
The July 2026 graduation ceremonies across #Eritrea|s higher education institutions reflect the country’s continued investment in human capital development and the expansion of opportunities in science, technology, engineering, agriculture, business, and social sciences.
At the College of Business and Social Sciences, 1,018 graduates received first degrees and diplomas in fields including business management, public administration, accounting, economics, law, languages, and social sciences, with women representing 47 percent of graduates. The Mai Nefhi College of Science conferred BSc degrees to 300 graduates, with women accounting for 49 percent, in disciplines including biology, chemistry, earth sciences, mathematics, physics, and statistics.
The Hamelmalo College of Agriculture graduated 375 students, including veterinary doctors, BSc graduates, and diploma holders, in areas essential to food security and sustainable development, including animal sciences, plant sciences, horticulture, food technology, plant protection, and environmental protection.
The Mai Nefhi College of Engineering and Technology conferred first degrees and diplomas to 297 graduates in engineering and technical fields such as civil, mechanical, marine, mining, agricultural, chemical, electrical, computer science, automotive technology, construction, networking, and surveying.
Together, these institutions produced 1,990 graduates in July alone, representing #Eritrea|s continued efforts to develop a skilled workforce capable of advancing national priorities in #agriculture, #industry, #infrastructure, #energy, #mining, #digitaltransformation, #environmentalmanagement, and #publicadministration.
The growing participation of women, particularly in science and business-related disciplines, also demonstrates progress toward greater #gender inclusion in higher education. At the same time, the expansion of technical and vocational programmes ensures that graduates acquire practical skills aligned with the country’s development needs.
#Eritrea|s approach to education is centered on developing national capacity: empowering young #Eritreans with knowledge, skills, and professional expertise to contribute to sustainable development and long-term self-reliance. These achievements represent a meaningful contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (#SDG4) on Quality Education and the broader objective of empowering people through accessible, relevant, and transformative education.
Education remains a cornerstone of Eritrea’s long-term strategy of building national capacity, self-reliance, and sustainable development. By investing in knowledge, innovation, and skills, Eritrea is preparing a new generation of professionals who will contribute to the country’s future growth and resilience.
Congratulations to all graduates and to their families, educators, and communities who supported their journey... best wishes for a productive and successful future as you apply your knowledge and skills in service of Eritrean society and Eritrea's national development.

The public policies and rhetoric of Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed are facing sharp criticism and mounting accusations of misinformation regarding the history of the landlocked nation leveled by his advisor Getachew Reda.

Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party: Delusional Precepts as Tools of Regional Destabilization
Ethiopia’s Prosperity Party is pushing synchronized “academic” analyses that expose deep contradictions: they label Eritrea a collapsing, militarized state suffering from “Nakfa syndrome,” yet openly admit the PFDJ’s unbreakable institutional control renders their sponsored opposition groups powerless. This isn’t analysis — it’s psychological operations and a blueprint for subversion, dressed up as strategy.
At its core, this “Grand Strategy on Eritrea” is fueled by irredentist fantasies of grabbing sovereign Eritrean coastline “by force if necessary.” It flouts international law, distorts history, and weaponizes proxies — all while Eritrea upholds regional stability through respect for borders and sovereignty. Addis Ababa’s revisionism isn’t just dangerous; it’s a direct threat to Horn of Africa peace.
