@long_friday@PoliceServiceNI I know you didn't but you've parroted that it's alleged information. I read fine. We'll see if it's legit or not. I hope for the same as yourself.
@_Fyrd No, The unrest is taking place in Northern Ireland and it's being carried out by members of the unionist community who are British citizens. The Republican community, who identify and hold Irish passports aren't taking part. Read the Good Friday Agreement.
@long_friday@PoliceServiceNI I did. You just said this is all alleged so until it's confirmed, stop stoking the flames. I don't support thugs but I also don't support improper handling of information. Both are dangerous.
@Carebear07141@batmansagent@SovereignMindsX The majority of Northern Ireland want this done a different way. Most of the commentary online is coming from people not in country who have no clue what the situation is actually like. The people you're calling to support (the Irish) don't want anything to do with the riots.
@PaulGib16540335@PoliceServiceNI Didn't say it was acceptable, just stating the reasoning behind the decision. There's a reason hundreds of officers from England have arrived to assist today. If the force was funded and staffed as needed they'd be able to operate as you'd like to hope.
@long_friday@PoliceServiceNI 2/ I understand the frustration but it's never so black and white my friend. I've been observing events in person and the @PoliceServiceNI have been doing a fine job at keeping unrest contained.
@long_friday@PoliceServiceNI 1/ So you want them to attempt to chase off the roadblocks, risking retaliation from the hoods waiting for this exact thing to happen, which will then create another flashpoint drawing more resources away from the province and an already stretched force?
@DBS2325 Took me way too long to find someone saying this. Doesn't help that 90% of the people commenting on this aren't even in the country. The misinformation is rife.
@XboxTheBestBox It's half tricolour/half union flag. Local fella ordered them in. Union flag bit is covered by his cap. Still mental to see on the Newtonards road.
