Karen Blixen’s account of her life in Kenya, Out of Africa, was published in Denmark as Den afrikanske farm in 1937 and the Danish Society of Authors nominated Karen Blixen for the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1950. She loved Kenya so much. Amazing photo cred: @melissabrown94
