Now my stepbrother wants to “finish” me for supporting Umar Khalid, lol.

To understand how absurd this is, you need to understand the history behind it. My parents died in 2015 and 2016, within a month of each other. My father had been married before, and after his first wife passed away, he married my mother. I have two stepbrothers from his earlier marriage. Throughout my childhood, these two men abused my mother, threatened her with physical harm, made our home a hostile and terrifying place, and threatened us as well. Then, when our parents died, whatever facade of being a family existed disappeared completely. Within months, they kicked me and my real sister out of the rented house in Muzaffarnagar where we had lived for nearly 18 years. We were left with nowhere to go and had to move in with our uncle.

They also sold off our belongings and took the money. Imagine living somewhere for 18 years — all the things you accumulate, everything that makes a house your home — and then losing all of it. That was the last I heard from them. For the next ten years, there was no relationship. No calls, no messages, no concern about whether we were alive or where we were. I had no desire to contact them either. After everything that had happened to my mother and to us, I had moved on and wanted absolutely nothing to do with them.

My sister, however, has been in contact with him recently. I have not. And now, ten years later, he apparently came across one of my videos supporting Umar Khalid. Suddenly, he had something to say about me again. He immediately messaged my sister, calling me a “gaddar” and saying that I had “betrayed Rajputana blood” by supporting Umar Khalid.

He is now saying that if he sees me, he will “finish” me because of what I have become and what I support. This is a man who did not speak to me for ten years. A man who did not once ask where I was, how I was doing, or whether I was even alive. A man who, after our parents died, helped throw me and my sister out of the only home we had known for nearly 18 years.

My other stepbrother is, of course, backing him. Both of them have been leaving abusive comments under the video about me that was uploaded by FOEJ Media on Facebook. I am not even on Facebook, lol.

And this is a man whose own history hasn't exactly been free from serious trouble with the law.

He also mocked my mother when she died, right in front of me. And now, he wants to lecture me about nationalism.

I will never not support Umar Khalid! Free Umar Khalid.
