@izutorishima Base32768 is basically a way to beat Base64. In UTF16 it stores 15 bits of data per 16bit character, giving massive efficiency. I actually used it in BWTC32Key due to this efficiency. Encrypted textual tarballs are possible now. It has other uses, including in games. (1/?
@yanorei32 Good to see a fellow developer using Base32768! I wonder what happens if I don't percent-encode my code's output and do file storage in URLs? Certainly helps browser game developers based on this. BWTC32Key URL parameters time! JS is so fun (1/?
@PDWRevival I don't have any file from that time anymore (my HD is long gone) but I have a small video in YouTube that shows part of what it logged. If that could be useful I can paste the link here
@NStchigel@PDWRevival I've made tools for making ARGs, and they aren't like this. That said the DW and the protocol behind it did inspire me during my tools' development. I was one of the OG users of the DW.
@PDWRevival I never cheated in the dream world so I can’t help BUT I just wanted to say I’ve been hoping for years someone would take this project on and bring it back so thank you
If you think you can help, join the Project Pokémon Discord (https://t.co/lMEves0eDb) or send us a DM!
And as always, if you have saved that connected to the Dream World, those are helpful too! (2/2)
Hey, did YOU cheat in the Dream World?
...If you did, we need your help! If you ever used a tool called "DW.exe" or "DreamWorld.exe", you might have a file called "results.txt" that contains valuable data we need to fully restore the Dream Islands! (1/2)
The Dream World is (partially) back. It requires running the website and server locally. A public network has not yet been released. The dev team is asking anyone who has an old hard drive that connected to the original Dream World to help provide their cache.
